  1. Upgrade Instructions

  4. Simply load !SGUpgrade and drag one of the following applications to the
  5. icon bar icon:

  7. !SGInstall
  8. !StrngGrd!
  9. !GOInstall
  10. !GameOn!
  11.  
  12. Upgrading an installer with result in it installing the new version of the
  13. software. Installer upgrades should be performed on a copy of your original
  14. disc, not on the original itself. Upgrading an installer will always result
  15. in the programs database being updated to the latest release.

  17. Upgrading installed software will also optionally update the database. To
  18. enable this, select the Update DB option from the menu. When this is
  19. selected, the programs database will be overwritten - you will have to
  20. reapply any changes or additions you have made that aren't included in the
  21. new release.

  23. If you have anything that you would like to add to the release database,
  24. please email details of the changes (not the complete database) to
  25. softdev@armclub.org.uk

  27. Upgrading a copy of Game On! v2.50 (or installer) will only upgrade the
  28. programs database. Older versions of Game On! cannot be upgraded by this
  29. application. Upgrading StrongGuard! v3.00 (or installer) will also upgrade
  30. the StrongGuard module to v3.10.
